Early Learning Center Pre-School (K3-K4)
Jefferson Christian Academy’s Early Learning Center was established in 2004 to provide a structured yet fun learning environment for three and four year old children in Giles and surrounding counties. The preschool operates on the same 180 day calendar as the rest of the school, but on a slightly expanded time schedule Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Students attending the JCA Preschool spend activity filled mornings learning, discovering and exploring God’s creation in structured and unstructured classes. The K3 and K4 classes are set up as a structured preschool program. The morning session is a classroom setting, which helps to prepare the students for kindergarten. In the K3 class, Amanda Offenberger is their teacher, and Victoria Thorne her assistant. In the K4 class, Beth Jones is their teacher, and Barbara Carter her assistant. Ms. Beth uses A Beka curriculum.
Don’t worry though – there is plenty of time allowed in the afternoon for the staples of that age group, like playing and napping.
